Pre-villa pancake party

Before a trip to the Getty Villa two Saturdays ago, David, Karthik and Hua came over for a breakfast of tea and pancakes.  I made the same lemon ricotta pancakes that I first tried back in the winter (and wow, does that feel like a long time ago!).  A drizzle of maple syrup, cups of white tea, matcha, and hot chocolate, and breakfast was complete.  The below picture was staged later in the day, using the leftover pancake batter and also some walnuts:

Of course, the Getty Villa is significantly prettier than pancakes.
